Rana Ahmed joined the Amal Center in 2016 and is a registered social worker at the Ordre des Travailleurs Sociaux et des Thérapeutes Conjugaux et Familiaux du Québec. She’s presently completing her Master’s degree in Social Work, with a concentration in children and families.
Rana Ahmed works primarily with women, couples, and families (children 14 years and older). She uses different psychosocial approaches to help her clients draw on their strengths, foster their resilience and achieve their goals. Her primary areas of intervention are: domestic violence, conjugal/marital conflict, family conflict, pre-marital counseling, parenting and mental health.
