The Amal Center offers a comprehensive suite of services tailored to meet the needs of women, including one-on-one psychosocial intervention, active listening and referrals to external parties for legal aid, housing concerns, etc.

Our services are available to all women and families in need, regardless of their immigration status, age, or background.

Amal Center does not offer financial assistance. We do however offer food baskets during Ramadan and we can help clients connect with other organizations that offer financial assistance.

The center primarily uses French, English or Arabic as means of communication. Active listening services are provided in French, English, Arabic, Spanish, Urdu, and Turkish.

You can schedule an appointment by calling us and leaving a message at (514) 855-0330. We see clients at our center by appointment only.

The required documents will vary depending on the service you need. You will be informed what you need to bring by your case worker.

Yes, all services provided at the Amal Center are strictly confidential and your file is only accessible by your case worker.

To donate via e-Transfer or PayPal, please use treasurer@amalwomencenter.ca as the recipient address, with "amal" as the security answer. We are pleased to offer tax receipts for a minimum donation of $30 CAD.

In case of an emergency, please dial 9-1-1 immediately. Amal Center provides support and resources to women affected by psychosocial issues through interventions and long-term support services. We are not equipped to handle crisis situations.
